Members of our team at Adara Spa are educators in their field of expertise. We offer a complete range of services for your beauty needs, including hair solutions, massage therapy, waxing, facials, microdermabrasion, Light Concept Nail enhancements, manicures and pedicures.
Framesi educator, Amanda Pokrzywa, has worked for several years in the downtown Raleigh area and specializes in a wide variety of services. Trained as a master colourist with Framesi, she enjoys the innumerable opportunities with color. Amanda is trained in specialized cutting techniques, including the razor. She believes the challenges of corrective color are exciting and says giving someone a new, fresh look is always great fun. Education is forefront for Amanda and she has had the benefits of attending educational events in London, New York and other east coast cities. The creativity in specialty styles for weddings, proms, dances and cotillions is one of the first things that drew Amanda to hairstyling. She enjoys having fun with her work and a great rapport with her clients.
And continuing with our quest for excellence, Light Concept Nails educator Desiree Johnson is a licensed manicurist and esthetician with more than five years of experience in the Triangle. Desiree is also certified in diabetic pedicuring by the International Pedicuring Association. Her knowledge of skin and skin care is extensive as a licensed esthetician. Facials, microdermabrasion and chemicals peels are among Desiree's expertise and passion. And her years of experience working with Davidson Beauty System allows her to share a wealth of product knowledge.
Massage Therapist, Alyssa Vine-Hodge, graduated from the Charleston School of Massage in South Carolina in 1999. She is licensed in the state of North Carolina (#6241). Seven years experience in area day spas and chiropractic clinics combined with a comprehensive education in clinical massage means you are in good hands. Now, let her experience be your personal ticket to relaxation.
And Sundrae "Sunny" Miller is a licensed esthetician and manicurist with more than 14 years experience and a reputation for providing excellent service throughout the Triangle. For more than six years, Sunny has worked as an educator for Light Concept Nails. Sunny is also a licensed esthetician with a wealth of skin care knowledge, extensive education with CosMedix skin care which allows her to offer facials and chemical peels. She also has extensive training and experience with microdermabrasion.
