 Sanitation
At Adara Spa we are committed to using only the highest quality products and maintaining the best sanitation/disinfection procedures possible.

For your convenience, we have described our daily sanitation procedures for many of the materials and implements that you come in contact with throughout our services.

If you have any questions regarding our sanitation procedures, please do not hesitate to ask.

ESTHETIC AND MANICURIST IMPLEMENTS :
All esthetics and manicurist instruments are cleaned and disinfected after each use using an EPA registered disinfectant. All metal implements used for nail services are cleaned in an autoclave for maximum sterilization.

Metal implements are washed with antibacterial soap, rinsed and placed in Barbicide for a minimum of ten minutes. The disinfectant is changed regularly so that the solution is always a clear blue indicating it is still effective

MASSAGE ROOM & TABLE :
In accordance with North Carolina law, clients can expect fresh, clean linens for every appointment. The face cradle on the massage table and the arm rest are sanitized in between each appointment. The sink, towel cabinet and other general room items are cleaned daily. Our massage therapist thoroughly washes her hands and forearms before and after each massage session.

FOOT SPA SANITATION :
Our foot spa is drained then cleaned with a bleach solution between each client.

NAIL FILES :
Each client is given a nail file to keep in his or her possession and asked to bring it for follow-up appointments. A new file is provided when necessary.

MANICURE TABLE :
The manicure table is cleansed with barbicide between each client.

HANDS :
Both client and technician sanitize their hands with antiseptic hand gel before each service.
